Installation qualification — IQ
Verify equipment and documentation: model references, diffuser locations, power, connections, sensors, materials and safety conditions. Record deviations before operation.
Operational qualification — OQ
Verify functional behaviour: command sequences, cycles, alarms, recorded parameters and tolerances. Cover normal operation and relevant abnormal conditions.
Performance qualification — PQ
PQ checks the defined microbiological target in the actual setup: load, geometry, critical locations, target organisms and repeatability. Place biological indicators through risk assessment, especially in worst-case areas.
Traceability and change control
Retain approved protocols, raw results, deviations and release decisions. Changes in equipment, biocide, load or layout may require reassessment.
