The POSS range comprises ultrasonic airborne surface disinfection systems for isolators, pass-through chambers, airlocks and cleanrooms. Model selection depends on treatment volume, airflow and integration requirements.
Equipment photographPOSS uses ultrasonic transducers to generate hydrogen peroxide microdroplets of approximately 1–3 µm. An internal fan promotes their distribution through the recirculation circuit. Condensation and microbiological efficacy depend on the formulation and cycle parameters.
PS-020CA and PS-040CA are intended for isolators, passboxes and freeze dryers. The machines remain outside the enclosure while the fog is routed into its circuit. Air connections, sensors and equipment controls must be engineered for each installation.
Microbiological results apply to defined test conditions, with reference to EN 17272. They cannot be extrapolated to another disinfectant, load or geometry without appropriate studies. Indicator placement, exposure, aeration and acceptance criteria must be defined before qualification.
