Integration and scope of use

PEGASE may be assessed for use in laboratories, research animal facilities and selected clinical care areas, including examination rooms, consultation rooms, airlocks and corridors. The prior assessment must address room geometry, ventilation, sensitive equipment and clinical operations. Airborne surface disinfection requires documented conditions for the equipment–disinfectant combination and the selected treatment cycle.

Safety and qualification of treatment areas

Treatment must take place in an unoccupied area, without animals, patients or unauthorised staff. Prior cleaning, room isolation, ventilation management, protection of sensitive equipment, residual concentration monitoring and safe re-entry criteria must be defined. Microbiological efficacy is specific to the protocol and qualified conditions.
